The Messanger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“indeed Allah does not accept the repentance of an innovator until he stops his innovation” (at-tabraanee)
and he (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“whoever honours an innovator, he has helped in pulling down islam”
and he (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allah, his angels and the whole of mankind” (Bukhari)
and he (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“I have left you upon clear guidance. It’s night is like its day. No one deviates from it after me except that he is destroyed” (Ahmed and others)
And he (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“no people introduce a bidah but something equivalent will be taken away from the sunnah” (Musnad Ahmed)
